The Office of the Provost and the Women’s Faculty Organization (WFO) held a Family-Friendly Forum on Monday, November 15, 2010, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm in the Gressette Room, Harper College. The discussion was led by Dr. Christine Curtis, Senior Vice Provost.
The forum sought faculty input on the Family-Friendly policies regarding the following questions:
- Have the family-friendly policies been effective in your academic unit?
- Are there any changes, improvements and additions that are needed for ACAF 1.31 Extension of Tenure Clock, ACAF 1.60 Modified Duties Semester for Faculty, and ACAF 1.61 Faculty Dual Career Accommodation?
- Are there any additional “family-friendly” faculty needs that the university should address through policy?
Faculty from both the Columbia and Regional campuses attended.
