Discovery Tools

Not sure about your future plans? The Career Center offers several tools to help you discover or clarify your skills, interests, values and personality traits. We use the Strong Interest Inventory (SII), the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a Work Values Inventory and FOCUS. Some Discovery Tools are free. Others can be purchased using a check, credit card, or Carolina Card.

  • FOCUS - This tool is an interactive system of career guidance and career decision-making. You create your own account, work through the questions, and print your profile. We recommend you follow-up by reviewing your results with a Career Development Coach.  If you are a first time user, email the Career Center to obtain the required keycode before accessing the FOCUS login page.
