JobMate Information

JobMate is an online integrated job search resource center that allows students/alumni to search job postings, view and apply for on-campus interviewing opportunities, and access employer and Career Center events. All students/alumni have pre-paid access to two account types – Basic and Full.

Basic Access Account Features

  • Search for part-time jobs, full-time jobs, and internships by keywords and specific employers
  • Create “saved searches” for quick searching each time you log in
  • Use search agent to receive emails and/or text messages when new jobs matching your search criteria are entered
  • View announcements and customize calendar for your events

Full Access Account Features

  • All basic access features
  • Search for on-campus recruiting opportunities
  • Upload resumes, cover letters, and other documents
  • Participate in on-campus interviews
  • Receive emails when new jobs are posted
  • Participate in resume referral
  • Publish resumes in virtual resume book for employer access
  • Track referrals and employer views of your resume
  • Track applications submitted to employers
  • RSVP for events
  • Use automated reminder task lists
  • Use automated calendar events for on campus interviews and employer deadlines
  • Search for and contact mentors using the Spur Connections mentor database

For a Full Access Account, create your Basic Access account as described above and have your resume approved by a Career Center staff member.   Resume reviews are available Monday through Friday, 1 – 4 PM for drop-in resume approval.  No appointment is necessary.
