Job Fair Fees

Profit Organization:
Early bird registration - $600 until September 13, 2016 at midnight.
Late registration  - $675 (September 14 - September 27, 2016)

Non-Profit Organization:
Early bird registration - $300 until September 13, 2016 at midnight.
Late registration - $375 (September 14 - September 27, 2016)

Additional Tables:
Please note that registration allows for up to 3 recruiters.  Each addtional table is $350 and allows for another 3 recruiters. Please indicate additional tables needed in the Extra Items option during registration for the event in Handshake.

Day After Fair On-Campus Interviews:
Per table- $100.  Please indicate interview tables needed in the Extra Items option during registration for the event in Handshake.

Employer Eligibility Policy to Use Career Center Services

Job Fair Policies

Refund/Cancellation Policy: All payments must be received no later than two (2) weeks prior to the career event. If an employer has not paid in full and/or cancels less than two (2) weeks prior to the event, the organization will be held responsible for the payment. All cancellations must be provided in writing by email to gilessha@mailbox.sc.edu. Future registrations for career events will not be allowed until the balance is paid. If an employer registers on or after the two-week period prior to the event, all payments must be paid in full at the time of registration. No refunds will be issued after September 13, 2016.

Tobacco Policy:  Employers please be aware that beginning January 1, 2014, the University of South Carolina is tobacco free. Please review the University policy at http://www.sc.edu/policies/univ500.pdf for additional details about Tobacco Free USC.

Exhibit Parameters: All exhibits must be limited to the size of the 8' x 2.5' table. No vehicles or animals are allowed at the fair. All items for your display must be able to fit onto or behind your table.  Tables may not be taken down to allow for bigger displays. This will ensure that all employers have adequate space and students can navigate the fair in an efficient and safe manner.  If you are bringing printed materials, please bring 10 copies of enlarged print.

Parking Options: You will be provided a parking pass for the Park Street Garage when you check in on the day of the event. While the Career Center has reserved parking for you, we cannot guarantee that a spot will be available. We strongly suggest that you bring pocket change should you need to park in a metered spot (1 quarter = 20 minutes).

Steps to Register:

  1. Create an account in Handshake, our online recruiting system.
  2. If you are a new employer or contact, your Handshake profile will be reviewed and approved. Your profile will be approved within 72 hours.
  3. Once you are approved, click on the "Fairs" link on the left bar of your Handshake homepage to register.
