Job Fair Policies and Logistical Information
Refund/Cancellation Policy: All payments must be received no later than two (2) weeks prior to the career event. If an employer has not paid in full and/or cancels less than two (2) weeks prior to the event, the organization will be held responsible for the payment. All cancellations must be provided in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Future registrations for career events will not be allowed until the balance is paid. If an employer registers on or after the two-week period prior to the event, all payments must be paid in full at the time of registration. No refunds will be issued after September 13, 2016.
Tobacco Policy: Employers please be aware that beginning January 1, 2014, the University of South Carolina is tobacco free. Please review the University policy at http://www.sc.edu/policies/univ500.pdf for additional details about Tobacco Free USC.
Exhibit Parameters: All exhibits must be limited to the size of the 8' x 2.5' table. No vehicles or animals are allowed at the fair. All items for your display must be able to fit onto or behind your table. Tables may not be taken down to allow for bigger displays. This will ensure that all employers have adequate space and students can navigate the fair in an efficient and safe manner. If you are bringing printed materials, please bring 10 copies of enlarged print.
Parking Options: You will be provided a parking pass for the Park Street Garage when you check in on the day of the event. While the Career Center has reserved parking for you, we cannot guarantee that a spot will be available. We strongly suggest that you bring pocket change should you need to park in a metered spot (1 quarter = 20 minutes).
ADA Accommodations: If you are in need of ADA accommodations such as but not limited to interpreters, captioning, or enlarged print, please contact Shanae Giles at email@example.com or 803-777-5060 for assistance.
