GMAT Prep Live Online Course

Prepare with our comprehensive online GMAT prep course led by a live expert instructor. Enjoy all the interactivity of traditional classroom learning with one big plus—the comfort and convenience of being able to learn at home or at work.

My instructor was great at explaining the concepts, solutions and how to approach the questions. I'm so glad USC offers this test prep program.

Learn from Anywhere

Learning in our live, online course is just like being in a classroom without traveling to campus. You can take the course from anywhere as long as you have a computer and the internet. Best of all, it won't require pricey software, new hardware or advanced computer skills.

You'll regularly meet your instructor online in a live interactive classroom setting and have access to office hours in case you have questions. The sessions are recorded so you can review the material from previous sessions.

About the Course

Our expert instructors guide you through each section of the GMAT exam and provide personal attention in and out of the classroom. Like our GMAT classroom course, this online course includes 24 hours of instruction and in-depth coverage of Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, Sentence Correction, Problem Solving, Data Sufficiency, Analytical Writing, and Mathematical concepts. You will see actual questions from previous GMAT tests.

Learn helpful studying and test-taking strategies and time management skills to help limit test anxiety and improve your confidence. We have helped hundreds achieve their goals and gain admission into the MBA program of their choice and we are ready to help you.

Course materials include instructions on how to access your account, The Official Guide for GMAT Review, GMATPrep® software, and the GMAT Course Workbook, designed to supplement the classroom lessons. These materials will be shipped to you prior to the first class.

I am so glad I decided to sign up for this course! I feel so much more prepared to take the test.

The Online Experience

You may have questions about online learning and the course format. We have a list of common questions here for you. If you have additional questions or need more information, you can ask an expert.

How do these courses compare to the live face-to-face classes offered on campus?

The live online classes are very similar to the classroom format. We use the same curriculum and materials, and the same proven strategies to help you succeed on the exam. You are able to interact with your instructor in a live setting and participate in the class through the use of online technologies.

How are the classes delivered?

The live-online class uses software called Adobe Connect. This software allows you to view and hear the instructor, share documents, and interact with the instructor and other students.  While the instructor uses a microphone to broadcast voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) students do not need a microphone or camera to participate. Students simply type questions and answers into a chat box. Some modules also feature quizzes.

How does “live-online classes” differ from other online classes?

Most online classes are asynchronous, meaning they are pre-recorded or prepared in advance. Students work through the classes at their own pace or are provided with a new module to review on their own each week. Live-online classes are led by a live instructor who is there to teach the class and answer questions in real-time; just like in a traditional classroom setting.

What are the software and system requirements?

All you need to participate in the live-online class is access to high speed Internet on a computer with speakers (or headphones) and Adobe Flash Player version 10.01 or higher, which can be downloaded for free.

Download the latest Adobe Flash Player (free):  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

How will I be able to participate in the class?

The live-online class supports interaction with instructors and other students in a variety of ways. You will be able to ask questions and make comments using the chat features. In addition, the course will utilize quiz features that allow you to answer questions. You will also have access to your instructor by phone and email, just as you would in our traditional classroom setting.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes. The live sessions will be recorded and will be available for streaming. The streaming video will be available shortly after the scheduled meeting date and will be accessible for 30 days after the session.

Do I need to order any textbooks or workbooks?

No. The class includes the same textbooks and workbooks as our traditional classroom course. A copy of the textbook and workbook will be available for you to pick up at our office or will be mailed to you about one week before the class begins.
