Since 1964, the Administrative Employees Club (AEC) has served the university by creating
social and service opportunities through which staff, faculty and retired employees
can come together as a community.
What Does the AEC do?
The club's purpose is primarily social, enhancing the esprit de corps of UofSC employees, and promotes understanding and good will.
We work hard. AEC honors the achievements of our members as well as children of members each year through
the selection of the AEC Administrative Employee of the Year and the awarding of the
AEC Scholarship to a UofSC student.
We also host several annual events for the UofSC community, such as our spring Easter
Egg Hunt and and Winter Ball in January.
We play hard. AEC sponsors the AEC Lounge for members during football season in Williams-Brice Stadium. This
catered, air-conditioned, no-wait-in-line-clean-bathrooms tailgate experience is like
no other. Open one hour before games and during halftime, it's a great way to support
our Gamecocks and make new friends.
In addition, we host fall and spring golf tournaments, monthly social hours and other
events throughout the year for our members.
AEC Fall Golf Tournament
The annual Fall Golf Tournament is scheduled for October 13 at The Windermere Golf Club. Get all the details about the event here.
