Delaware and Maryland (except Charles County, Montgomery County and Prince George’s County)
As the regional representative for Maryland, I am delighted to work as a Gamecock in my home state. After spending high school in Southern Maryland, I graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2015 with a degree in sociology. Continuing at UMBC, I then graduated in 2017 with a master’s degree in applied sociology. My experiences in higher education as a student and as a professional have made me passionate about educational policy, diversity/inclusion, and student-athlete issues.
In my first role at UofSC, I served as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor for the University Advising Center. Stationed in the College of Education, I had the opportunity to help recruit, advise, and prepare students as they progressed towards their student teaching. In addition to my advising role, I also had the opportunity to serve as a U101 instructor during fall 2019.
College is the best place for young people to grow professionally, academically, and personally. My advice for students is to explore by trying new things and meeting people of different backgrounds. You will benefit from it!
