About Me

I was born in Chicago, IL but grew up in the suburbs of Richmond, VA. In 2020 I graduated from Longwood University with my B.S. in Psychology, where I was also a part of many organizations on campus as a student leader. This experience led me to move to Columbia, SC to pursue and receive my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from UofSC. During this time I worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and gained understandings of how to best assist collegiate students. I now serve as a Coordinator for Recruitment where I connect with students to spread my love for all things UofSC. Additionally, I also have the opportunity to serve as a University 101 instructor on campus to assist students with their transition to college.

When thinking about the college search process, always trust your feelings and intuition. You know yourself better than anyone, so be open to new ideas and opportunities. Never be afraid to ask questions and always follow your heart!
