Biography

Amberly Osteen has 24 years’ experience in healthcare. Her areas of medical expertise are broad, encompassing obstetrics and gynecology specialties in labor and delivery surgeries, orthopedics, and primary care and internal medicine. She also has experience teaching surgical technological and clinical skills.

Osteen is a USC School of Medicine Columbia Program Manager at USC Brain Health. Her work focuses on partnership networking, clinical operations, and efficiencies.

Osteen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business, Healthcare Management, from Western Governors University, and an Associates in Science in General Technology and a diploma in Surgical Technology from Central Carolina Technical College, and holds a National Certification in Surgical Technology.

Osteen enjoyed orthopedics and teaching the most if she had to pick. She worked as a clinical supervisor and manager in orthopedics with five providers, including four surgeons. Throughout her career, Osteen has taught health and wellness and physical education to middle schoolers. She has also taught surgical/sterile clinical skills for technical college surgical technology programs.

Osteen has a serious passion for the medical field, the human body, and how it functions. She enjoys health and fitness and making it part of her daily life. She combines diet and exercise practices to enhance her overall health and thinks it can play a large role in medicine.

Osteen is a wife to an amazing husband and a devoted mother to four children. She also loves the beach and being outdoors.
