Biography 

Rose Luna is a USC Brain Health Community Health Worker serving the Seneca/Oconee County areas.

In her position, Luna primarily focuses on engaging with the community to promote brain health awareness, connect individuals to vital resources and provide support for those navigating neurological health challenges. Her responsibilities include conducting outreach programs, offering personalized guidance and working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the community.

Luna completed her bachelors in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of South Carolina,

Upon graduation, Luna worked as a medical scribe for Prisma Health Cardiology for two years. In this role, she was responsible for documenting patient interactions, assisting healthcare providers with patient care and ensuring accurate and timely medical records. The experience allowed her to develop a strong foundation in medical terminology, patient care coordination and the inner workings of a busy healthcare setting.

Luna excels in bilingual communication in English and Spanish, which allows her to effectively serve diverse communities.

Luna is an avid runner and painter and is "wickedly" good at puzzles.
