Biography

Alyssa Blickensderfer is a Program Manager for USC Brain Health. Alyssa manages day-to-day business operations, the ongoing Brain Health Center construction project and the research database.

Blickensderfer graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Science and a minor degree in Neuroscience. Blickensderfer completed her Master of Health Administration at the University of South Carolina and earned Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement. While completing her MHA, Blickensderfer participated in South Carolina Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (LEAD) training and received a certificate of completion. 

Blickensderfer has experience working in both hospital systems and physician practice networks. Before joining USC Brain Health, Blickensderfer worked as an Operations Manager at MUSC Health Midlands. There she led performance data reviews for a division of three inpatient facilities and more than 40 departments, and developed monthly reports that were presented to system leadership for review.

Blickensderfer enjoys reading, finding new restaurants, spending time with her fiancé and two dogs, and going to the beach.
