The Social Justice Awards are given to members of the university community who exemplify the philosophies of Martin Luther King Jr., through acts of community service, social justice or racial reconciliation.
Anyone from the Columbia or regional campus or School of Medicine can nominate a deserving student, faculty or staff member to receive a 2015 Social Justice Award.
Faculty nominees must be a full-time or permanent junior or senior faculty who is either currently tenured or tenured-track, staff nominees must be full- permanent employees, and student nominees must be full-time students who are actively involved in campus life and in good academic and social standing.
Submit your nomination forms to the Office of Equal Opportunities Programs by the end of the day on Dec. 12.
