Garrett Moss

Biographical Information:

Hi! My name is Garrett Moss and I am a second year M.S. Epidemiology student. I am 23 years old, and my hometown is Valdosta, Georgia. I spent my undergrad here at USC and got my degree in Public Health. For me it was an easy choice to continue on and get my masters here at the Arnold School.

Research Interests:

My research interests are genetic epidemiology and infectious disease. I am particularly interested in how hosts genetics impact their reaction to an infectious disease agent.

Thesis/Practicum:

My thesis is on the host germline genetics of Chagas disease, and I hope to travel to El Salvador to work on it and see its impact firsthand. I am always happy to talk about it, and feel free to contact me about any questions about the University, our program/classes, or the thesis work. Welcome to the Arnold School!
