Background

Carissa Orlando, Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Orlando received her Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Health Psychology from Appalachian State University. She has a history of providing assessment and therapy services to youth and their families in a wide variety of settings. Her clinical and research interests include school-based mental health as well as the prevention and intervention of suicidal and self-injurious behaviors in youth.
