Career Ambassadors

Get hired now, get hired later.

The Career Ambassadors (CA's) are leaders who serve as liaisons between the Career Center and the student body of the University of South Carolina for purposes of outreach, drop-in appointments, and education. Through the Career Ambassador Leadership Program, CA's become proficient in many of the skills employers look for in new hires, such as communication, problem solving, and leadership.

As a Career Ambassador, you will:

  • Serve as liaison between students and the Career Center

  • Paraprofessionally advise students on their resume in a 1:1 drop-in appointment

  • Interact with employers and staff members during Career Center job fairs, etiquette dinners, and additional programming

  • Present and develop Career Center programs for residence halls, clubs, and organizations

  • Create marketing outreach and initiatives to educate the student body on Career Center events
