Recruitment for fall 2012 is closed. We recruit for the fall semester class of CPE’s in the spring.

 

CPE Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum qualifications for application:

• Full-time USC student

• Minimum GPA of 2.5

• Strong written and oral communication skills

Requirements to apply:

• Required to attend an information sessions.

• Completion of application, resume, and cover letter - type and submit to the Career Center, H. William Close (BA) Building, 6th floor

• Completion of interview (30 minutes), including preparing and delivering a 5-minute mock presentation on a topic of your choice

Requirements if selected:

• If selected, the CPE will begin the following fall semester, with some training during the spring semester

• Required to attend all spring training sessions

• Required to also attend fall training and retreat

• Agree to work a minimum of 5-10 hours a week in direct student services (critiquing resumes, facilitation workshops and presentations, and working in the Career Center library)

• Agree to work a minimum of 8 hours a semester on marketing and special events (varies depending on demand and individual work schedule)

• February 1- Applications available online

• February 6-10- Info sessions- must attend one before submitting application

• February 24- Applications due

• March 12-16- Interviews

• March 23- Applicants notified of decision
