1. Can I verify a student's GPA?

The Career Center can verify if students meet the minimum requirements (2.5 GPA and 30hrs of academic credit) however, due to FERPA (privacy act to protect our student’s right’s) we are unable to provide students’ actual GPA.

Employers are able to ask candidates for an unofficial transcript which can be pulled from the students University of South Carolina VIP account. Students are able to access an official transcript for $8.00 by completing the “Official Transcript Request Form.”

2. Can I hire international students for co-op? Yes, if they are eligible to work in the United States. International students interested in participating in co-op must first meet with an International Student Advisor located at 901 Sumter Street (International Student Services Office) to determine their eligibility.
