What first motivated you to visit the Career Center?
I needed help preparing my resume and building my interviewing skills.

What Career Center services have you used?
Jobmate, resume reviews, mock interviews, CIP program, multiple on-campus interviews

Please tell us about your experience with the Career Center staff?
The staff was always very energetic and willing to help. It seemed like they were truly excited to help me search for jobs and prepare myself for interviews.

How do you feel you have benefited from using the Career Center?
Through multiple Career Center tools I acquired an internship with Johnson Controls that lasted over two consecutive years. I also acquired a full time position with International Paper through the Career Center services. I definitely would not be in the great situation that I am in today if the Career Center did not offer these great services. Jobmate, SET fairs, on-campus interviews, and resume writing tips contributed in a very big way to my success.

What would you suggest to students who are beginning to consider their job or internship search?
If you utilize all of the resources that the Career Center offers and don't wait until the last minute, then there is no reason that you should be without a job after graduation. Students who graduate without jobs are running out of excuses when so many services and resources are provided for FREE.
