The Opportunity Knocks Part-Time Job Fair is attended by employers who are located both on-campus and off-campus to recruit students for non-work-study part-time positions and work-study part-time positions.  Click on the links above to review tip sheets and the listing of employers who will attend the Opportunity Knocks Part-Time Job Fair. To maximize your results at the fair, you should:

  • Update your resume.

  • Bring multiple copies of your class schedule to the fair.  Many employers will want a copy submitted with your application and/or resume.

  • Visit the Career Center for a resume critique or advice on job search and interviewing skills.

  • Visit the Career Center for a resume critique or advice on job search and interviewing skills; on-call (walk-in) hours are Monday - Friday 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (summer Monday - Thursday) in one of our two locations - H.W. Close (BA) Building, 6th floor or College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) Career Center (satellite office).

  • Review the list of employers on JobMate before the fair.

  • Develop your strategy and target organizations.
