Employer Eligibility Policy to Use Career Center Services

Job Fair Policy

There is no registration fee for employers whether you are located on or off-campus.  The registration deadline is August 7, 2012. 

Each employer must provide a list on his/her table that clearly outlines the positions that are being advertised.  On-campus employers must indicate which positions are work-study positions and which positions are non-work-study positions. 

Employers may drop off exhibit items at the ramp on the Greene Street entrance of the Russell House.  A Career Center staff member will be available to monitor your items at the curb while you park your vehicle.  Hourly parking is available at the Bull Street Garage and in metered spots on Bull Street.

• An 8' x 2.5' covered table and 2 chairs

• Wireless access

Exhibit Parameters:  All exhibits must be limited to the size of the 8' x 2.5'table. No vehicles or animals are allowed at the fair.  All items for your display must be able to fit onto your table.  This will ensure that all employers have adequate space and students can navigate the fair in an efficient manner.

Cancellation Policy: To assist the Career Center in appropriately planning for space, materials and refreshments, we request that all cancellations must be provided in writing by email to erlake@mailbox.sc.edu by August 7, 2012.  We appreciate your consideration of this request.

Steps To Register:

1)  Click on the REGISTER FOR OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS link to set up a JobMate account
      or log into JobMate.

2)  Select Jobs and Events to register for OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS.

3)  Select Career Fairs and search.

4)  You will see the OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS Icon and a register link to the right.

5)  Select the Register link and complete your registration information.
