Six of our Favorite Fall Traditions at Carolina

The University of South Carolina has many events for students throughout the fall season! Trust us when we say there’s never a dull moment! Here are six of our favorite things to do when the fall season rolls around.

Pumpkin Carving With Carolina Productions

Students can head to Greene Street to carve pumpkins with Carolina Productions. This is a free and fun way to get into the fall and spooky-season spirit!

USC Ghost Tour

Is Carolina haunted? Our students can decide for themselves by attending the University Ambassadors’ annual ghost tour. Visitor Center Ambassadors share spooky stories revolving around campus, but don’t worry, no ghouls will be present!

Outdoor Movie

There's nothing better than getting cozy and watching a spooky movie! Every year, Gamecock Entertainment puts on an annual Halloween movie for students on Davis Field! Admission is free, and popcorn and candy are provided.

Carolina vs. Clemson Blood Drive

The Carolina Clemson Blood Drive is an annual battle that takes place during rivalry week at Carolina. South Carolina and Clemson compete to donate blood for local hospitals and life-saving procedures. Times and places will vary depending on when students choose to schedule an appointment.

Tiger Burn

The Tiger Burn is a longstanding tradition here at Carolina. In honor of rivalry week, we burn a giant tiger made by our engineering students. This event is open to students and the public, so if you’re in town visiting us, be sure to stop by!

Tailgate on Greene Street

Students planning on taking the shuttle to the stadium have the chance to stop by Greene Street on their way for a tailgate with free food, games and fun activities. This is a great way to start off game day!

Sounds Like fun?  Apply to USC!

When you become a Gamecock, you’ll have access to all this and more! Be sure to submit your application by our Early Action deadline of Oct. 15 or by our Regular Decision deadline of Dec. 1 for a chance to join in on the fun!

Go Gamecocks!
