Here are a few of Columbia’s most popular coffee shops:
Located directly across from the Horseshoe, Cool Beans is the closest coffee shop to campus! Local art decorates the walls and it’s a great place to meet up with friends in between classes. They have a great college vibe and some really delicious coffee! Parking may be limited but it’s essentially on campus, so it’s a great opportunity to get a good walk in!
Blum is a great coffee shop located on Devine Street. This is a quiet, upscale location with modern decor and super friendly baristas. It’s located about 10 minutes from campus and is surrounded by local shops, making it the perfect pick-me-up stop!
Drip is located on Saluda Avenue, close to campus! This low-key coffee shop is easily one of the most popular coffee shops among USC students. They have interesting lattes and coffee flavors, like honey habanero. In the back of the shop, they have a cool little record shop, so you can browse tunes while you’re there, too!
Immaculate Consumption is right by the State House distancing about a hundred yards from Cool Beans, and it’s sure to blow your socks off with its affordability and good coffee! They have several coffee flavors, milkshakes, and great breakfast and lunch options! If you’re thinking about sticking around for a while, this could be the spot for you!
