Solicitations and Awards

The University of South Carolina is classified as a governmental body of the executive branch of South Carolina state government. As such, it is required it to follow the South Carolina Consolidated Procurement Code and its ensuing regulations which are promulgated by the South Carolina State Fiscal Accountability Authority.

Legacy Solicitations and Awards Public Postings

The following sections are the online public postings for all UofSC solicitations and awards related to supplies, services, information technology and construction procurement activity posted prior to March 15, 2021.

Goods and Services Procurements

The posts in this section include all statutorily required competitive public procurements for goods and services and their corresponding solicitation dates, documents, amendments, award statements and any other relevant contractual documents. Occasionally a public solicitation may be posted here when it is not legally required to be; but all required posts will be included when required by law.

Fixed Price Bids

The posts in this section include a special type of multi-contractor solicitation for goods and services, where UofSC sets a pricing threshold and all qualified suppliers may receive an award based on the terms and conditions of the solicitation and corresponding contract. These solicitations and awards are specifically governed by Procurement Code Section 11-35-1525.

Facilities Procurements

The posts in this section include all statutorily required competitive public procurements for construction services and their corresponding solicitation dates, documents, amendments, award statements and any other relevant contractual documents. In addition to the Procurement Code, these projects are mandated by the State Engineer to comply with the Manual for Planning and Execution of State Permanent Improvements.

Revenue Generating Procurements

The posts in this section include all competitive public procurements where the University of South Carolina contracts for services that generate revenue for the university.
