    Apply to Live in Green Quad

    Green Quad is more than a typical residence hall. You will have the opportunity to learn about sustainability while living here, and you will be encouraged to look at things through a greener lens.

    Your journey begins with just three simple steps.

    1. Apply for Housing

      Now that you have decided to make the University of South Carolina your campus home, make sure to secure a housing spot and let them know Green Quad is your top choice. 
      • Access your housing application on Self-Service Carolina.
      • List Green Quad as your first Living Learning Community preference.
      • Submit housing application and $150 application fee no later than May 1.

    2. Fill Out the Green Quad Supplemental Application

      Once you’ve completed your housing application, a supplemental application will be made available in Self-Service Carolina. Be thoughtful with your responses and let us know why you’re right for Green Quad, and why we’re right for you. Students who fail to submit a supplemental application will not be admitted into our community.  

    (Optional) Sign Up for One of Our University 101 Sections

    If you are looking to get involved in the Green Quad, this is the perfect class for you! Our Green Quad University 101 classes are similar to other U101 classes, but allow you to take class with your neighbors right where you live.
