Provides guidance and assistance to international students at the university and manages immigration regulatory affairs related to students.
Global Carolina is a strategic initiative that unites a range of global programs at the University of South Carolina.
The program assists students and faculty traveling abroad as well as supports international
students studying at the university with support, language instruction and a structured
program to assist with the transition to university life. Global Carolina works closely
with other internationally focused university programs and efforts including the Arnold
School of Public Health’s global programs, the Walker Institute, and the International House at Maxcy College.

Eases the transition for international students from high school in their home country to the University of South Carolina by combining credit-bearing courses from their first year of their degree with additional academic support, instruction and cultural experiences.
The Global Studies program offers an interdisciplinary degree that explores our interconnected world.
