Apply to win Brad Paisley tickets

Students at the University of South Carolina have the opportunity to see country music star Brad Paisley perform Oct. 16 as part of My Carolina Alumni Association’s homecoming activities and grand opening for the university’s new Alumni Center.
To attend the street party and concert students must apply online. The application process for the giveaway will go live at 10 a.m. Monday (Sept. 28) and will continue through 5 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 30).
The concert will take place 7–10 p.m. in front of the university’s Alumni Center on Senate Street. The center is located across from the Columbia Convention Center at Senate and Lincoln streets in the Vista. Country musician Eric Paslay will perform from 7:30 to 8 p.m. before Paisley takes the stage.
Only an allotted number of students and alumni will be able to attend. Winning students will be notified by Oct. 2, with details for how to pickup their My Carolina Brad Paisley concert wristbands.
The university’s new Alumni Center is a home for students as much as alumni. Leading up to the Brad Paisley concert will be several homecoming and special events for students to enjoy their new home.
On Oct. 14, homecoming’s annual Student Trivia Night moves to the Alumni Center with tours and light refreshments from 6:30 to 8 p.m. before the trivia battle begins at 8 p.m. Students are invited back Oct. 15 for the grand opening at 2:30 p.m. when President Harris Pastides and alumni officials dedicate the Alumni Center with a surprise from Cocky at the end that students won’t want to miss.
