Best part of your Peer Leader experience: Meeting 19 first-year students and being able to mentor them and shape their first-year experience to be everything they expected and more.

Most impactful part of your Peer Leader experience: Being able to put myself in other people’s shoes and learn new perspectives, not just about the first-year experience, but about life and what it's like to be a student at the University of South Carolina.

Piece of advice for new Peer Leaders: Be there for your students and open to talk, even if there is hesitation from them at first. Don't give up! When they see you being a positive and supportive role model they will come to you with everything.

Piece of advice for new USC students: Get involved! Find your niche at USC and run with it. The people that you meet in these four years will be your best friends and will make the biggest impact in your life to date.
