Bio

Background: I have spend over 10 years working in acquisition, normalization, storage, reporting, and analysis of health data in the health informatics field. Distance Learning: I have taken and taught remote courses using online learning management systems Blackboard and Moodle. Some courses are completely online. Others are a hybrid of online and lecture.

Research Interest(s): Search Engines and Recommendation Algorithms: Demonstrated the efficacy of recommendation algorithms to improve search engine speed and accuracy. Developed methods to improve runtime using outcome-based nearest neighbor algorithms and multiple shortcuts in the execution of the Wagner-Fischer algorithm.
