Background: 1. Graduated form Chita State Medical Academy in Russia in 1996
2. Completed General Surgery Residency in 1998
3. Worked as a general surgeon between 1998-2003 in Moscow Russia
4. Moved to USA in 2003

3. General surgery Residents PGY3 and PGY 5 level are rotating through CRS. Teaching technical skills in the operating room including open, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Minor procedures of anorectal region, placement of sacral nerve stimulator, colonoscopies

2. Biomedical engineering in collaboration with Clemson University, Dept of Research Accomplishments
1. Development of a new type of Central Venous Catheters with tPA coating for prevention of thrombosis and biofilm formation
2. Development of novel antibacterial peptide coating of hernia repair implants. Antibacterial
activity of Lysostaphin coated synthetic and biologic meshes, in vitro-and in-vivo studies.
3. Development of novel biomedical nanodevices for dissolution of blood clots, based on simultaneous attachment of tissue plasminogen activator and anti-fibrin antibody to polymeric nanoparticles
4. Development of a new type of biologically active hydrogel bandage based on polyacrylamide
– Acrylic acid copolymer containing Iodovidon or Myramistin and a local anesthetic.
