Undergraduate Student Fellowships
2010 Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience

The National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition will award up to five fellowships to undergraduate students for the 2010 Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience, which will be held in Denver, Colorado. The purpose of the Fellowship Program is to advance the leadership skills and knowledge base of undergraduate students so that they may in turn use what they learn at the conference to enhance and encourage first-year student development on their respective campuses. The fellowship covers the participant’s conference registration fee, but no travel or lodging expenses.

Who Should Submit an Application?
The Annual Conference on The First-Year Experience Fellowship Program is open to all undergraduate students who are enrolled for the 2009-2010 academic year. Students who are interested in first-year programs, mentoring first-year students, and/or any other aspect of first-year student life and leadership are encouraged to apply.

Fellowships will be awarded to one applicant per institution. Previous winners of the fellowship are not eligible to apply. Applicants must be enrolled undergraduates during both the fall 2009 and spring 2010 semesters.
