information and terms to help you make the right choices for your
education and your future. It is also required.

Entrance
Loan Counseling
Before receiving a student loan, borrowers must complete an
entrance counseling session, which will provide useful tips and
tools to help you develop a budget for managing your educational
expenses and help you understand your loan responsibilities.

sign in using your federal PIN. This online session will take
you about 20 to 30 minutes.
Exit Loan
Counseling
Prior to graduating or leaving school, Direct Loan borrowers
must complete exit counseling. The Direct Loan Exit Counseling
will explain your rights and responsibilities as a Direct Loan
borrower.

This online session will take you about 30 to 40 minutes.
