Chris Muldrow
started his journalism career as a high school student
writing for The Greenville Piedmont in the early 1990s.
Muldrow, a 1995 journalism graduate of the Honors College
at The University of South Carolina, got involved in
digital news at The State newspaper, then moved to
Fredericksburg, Va., where he was the founding editor
of fredericksburg.com.
Muldrow served as vice president for Internet operations
at Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. in Birmingham,
Ala., which owns and operates more than 90 daily newspapers
across the country.
He returned to the Fredericksburg
area and to The Free Lance-Star Publishing Co. at the
end of 2010 to fill the new role of Chief Digital Officer.
His job is to build new digital businesses and to grow
digital audience and revenue on top of the existing
newspaper and radio operations owned by the company. |
