 Nancy
Twohey hails from Long Island, New York. She holds a bachelor's
degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and a paralegal certificate from
Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
After marrying a South Carolinian, Twohey moved to Columbia
and began working for the then College of Journalism and Mass
Communications in 1999. She initially worked half-time in the
Graduate Student Services Office processing student applications
and part-time in the Research Center working on grant proposals.
Twohey is now an Administrative Coordinator in the Dean’s
Office. Her responsibilities include processing Human Resources
actions, handling purchasing, travel, and service requests, maintaining
office supply inventory, and keeping the Dean’s calendar.
She lives in Columbia with her husband, Rick. |
