Patty
Hall serves as the Webmaster for the College of Mass
Communications and Information Studies and the School of Journalism
and Mass Communications.
Hall graduated in 1979 from King College in Bristol, Tennessee,
with a major in history and political science and a minor in
business administration.
For five years she was employed by Montreat College in North
Carolina as assistant director of admissions.
In 1984, she joined the Price/McNabb Advertising Agency in Asheville,
North Carolina, as an assistant account executive in their public
relations division. She worked on the accounts of the Asheville
Tourism Society, McDonald's Tri-Cities Co-ops and the Biltmore
Estate.
Hall joined the staff of the Journalism School in 1996 as
faculty assistant and Webmaster. She created the first Web site
for the College of Mass Communications and Information Studies
in 2002 and the new Web site for the School of Journalism and
Mass Communications in 2003, including the creative and graphic
design for the home page iSITE feature
articles.
