Emily has prior knowledge and experience in the fields of non-profits and people experiencing homelessness, people with physical and mental disabilities, higher education settings, athletic mental health and performance, substance use disorder recovery, and private practice counseling.

In her free time, Emily has committed yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices "that have truly enhanced every part of my life." Emily is an avid lover of the fine and liberal arts in all forms and enjoys painting, playing piano, watching films, reading, and discussing philosophy and psychology. Emily's relationships are of utmost importance to her; she values her family, friends, and partner deeply. Spending time in the present moment with them is what enhances and supports her life and well-being the most.
