Moore School Fall 2020 Teaching FAQs
Faculty can submit questions or peruse questions and answers from others using the DMSB Fall 2020 Teaching FAQ ‘course’ in Blackboard. To do so,
- Log into Blackboard, look under "Current Courses," and select the "DMSB FAQ" course.
- Click "Discussions" in the menu on left of page (you might need to open the menu first). On the "Discussion Board" page, click the forum of interest to you to see posted questions and answers. If you have a question, click "Create Thread" to post it.
- If you cannot find the DMSB FAQ course when you log onto Blackboard, contact Bob Lipe.
The classroom seating template provides a tab for each of the classrooms by number. Each tab shows the open seats, numbered beginning with "1" up to the seat limit with social distancing.
DMSB Livestream Training for Instructors
Livestream training specifically for Moore School instructors can be found in your Department’s Blackboard sandbox. To use these materials,
- Log into Blackboard and look for a “course” whose name includes your department’s name or four-letter code and the word “sandbox”.
- Click on that course, and scan the menu choices on the left of the screen (you might need to open the menu first). In most sandboxes, you will see "Livestream Training" in the main menu. Click this to open the training materials. In one sandbox, you need click "Contents" and then "Streaming a Class" and then "Livestream Training" to find the materials.
- If you cannot find the sandbox for your department, contact Bob Lipe.

DMSB Exam/Test Training for Instructors
Training on creating and administering tests specifically for Moore School instructors can be found in your department’s Blackboard sandbox. To use these materials,
- Log into Blackboard and look for a “course” whose name includes your department’s name or four-letter code and the word “sandbox”.
- Click on that course, and scan the menu choices on the left of the screen (you might need to open the menu first). In most sandboxes, you will see "Testing Training" in the main menu. Click this to open the training materials. In one sandbox, you need click "Contents" and then "Online Testing and Assessments" to find the materials.
- If you cannot find the sandbox for your department, contact Bob Lipe.
