the Department of Biological Sciences, this initiative strives to establish an interdisciplinary,
cooperative hub for advancing basic, clinical, and intervention research, as well
as education, focusing on autism and neurodevelopmental disorders at the University
of South Carolina
Mission: The mission of the CAN Research Center is to improve the health and well-being of
families and individuals with NDDs, including autism, intellectual disability, learning
disorders, and genetic syndromes (e.g., fragile X, Down Syndrome).
