Individuals with fragile X or the FMR1 premutation may qualify to participate in research studies that help us to better understand these conditions and explore possible treatments. If you or your child may qualify, see the information below about current recruitment possibilities. 

The Neurodevelopmental Disorders Lab seeks infants 24 months or younger who have the fragile X full mutation, as well as children 3 years of age with the FMR1 premutation. 

The Communication in Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Lab seeks children with the fragile X full mutation between ages 7-11. 

The South Carolina Family Experiences Lab seeks women with the FMR1 premutation between the ages 35-78.
