The program provides funding for R&D projects relevant to the programmatic mission of the NRC with respect to research, development, demonstration, and commercial application of new and advanced nuclear technologies. New this year, non-technical research will be considered under this announcement (for example, projects that would foster the development of innovative community engagement strategies, including incorporation of principles of equity and environmental justice). USC may submit only two applications in response to this program announcement.
Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Julie Morris (jamorris@mailbox.sc.edu) by April 19, 2023. In addition to the 2-page abstract, please submit a biosketch for the PI.
