The NSF Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) program solicitation has been revised for the FY2023 competition. Prospective Principal Investigators are encouraged to read the solicitation carefully.

This solicitation seeks... to enable low-income students with academic ability, talent or potential to pursue successful careers in promising STEM fields.

USC may send only two applications to this solicitation as Lead or Partner. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by January 5, 2023.. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

NSF indicates that a Letter of Intent is NOT REQUIRED and that full Track 1 proposals are due to the sponsor by March 29, 2023, while full Track 2, 3 and Collaborative Planning Grant proposls are due to the sponsor by March 2, 2023.
