NSF: ADVANCE: Organizational Change for Gender Equity in STEM Academic Professions (ADVANCE) NSF 20-554This program seeks to build on prior NSF ADVANCE work and other research and literature concerning gender, racial, and ethnic equity... to broaden the implementation of evidence-based systemic change strategies that promote equity for STEM2 faculty in academic workplaces and the academic profession.
USC can submit only one proposal to either the IT-Preliminary or Adaptation tracks. USC can also be a partner on one or more Partnership proposals.
Your application submission(s) MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a standard NIH formatted biosketch and a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by September 8, 2020.
NSF indicates that a letter of intent is REQUIRED by November 03, 2020 for the Adaptation and Partnership tracks only and a full proposal is due by February 04, 2021, for these tracks.
Preliminary proposals are only required for Institutional Transformation proposal. Submission of a preliminary proposal is required by April 22, 2021,for the IT-Preliminary track and a full proposal, if invited, is due October 07, 2021.
