NSF: ADVANCE: Increasing the Participation and Advancement of Women in Academic Science and Engineering Careers NSF 16-594This program seeks to (1) develop systemic approaches to increase the representation and advancement of women in academic STEM [1] careers; (2) develop innovative and sustainable ways to promote gender equity that involve both men and women in the STEM academic workforce; and (3) contribute to the research knowledge base on gender equity and the intersection of gender and other identities in STEM academic careers.
There are three program tracks:The Institutional Transformation (IT) track, The Adaptation track, and The Partnership track.
USC may only submit only one IT-Preliminary, Institutional Transformation (IT), or Adaptation proposal as the lead organization.
Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by October 31, 2018. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.
