HHS: Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program (R25) PAR-17-210

The over-arching goal of this National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) R25 program is to support educational activities that enhance the diversity of the biomedical research workforce.

To accomplish the stated over-arching goal, this FOA will support creative educational activities with a primary focus on Courses for Skills Development, Research Experiences, and Curriculum or Methods Development. A program application must include each activity, and describe how they will be synergized to make a comprehensive program.

USC may submit only one application in response to this program announcement. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by August 17, 2018. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

HHS indicates that a Letter of Intent is NOT REQUIRED and a full application is due by September 25, 2018. For more information: https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-17-210.html
