HHS: Birth Defects Study To Evaluate Pregnancy exposureS (BD-STEPS) II RFA-DD-18-001The purpose of this NOFO is to identify causes of certain major, structural birth defects and stillbirths using epidemiologic and genetic research methods and to provide information that could be translated into public health prevention messages.
USC may only submit only one application for each Component for a potential of two applications under this NOFO-- One application for Component A: BD-STEPS II Core; and possibly one additional application for Component B: BD-STEPS stillbirths only if the institution is applying for funding under Component B. Your application submission(s) MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by January 15, 2018. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.
