HHS: Understanding and Addressing the Disparity in Vaccination Coverage Among U.S. Adolescents Living in Rural Versus Urban Areas RFA-IP-18-003

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to: 1) obtain a better understanding of the factors contributing to disparities in vaccination coverage observed between adolescents living in rural areas compared to adolescents living in urban areas within the United States for all recommended vaccines, with a special emphasis on human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine; and 2) implement and evaluate an intervention(s) to improve vaccination coverage among adolescents living in rural areas.

USC may only submit only one application in response to this program announcement. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by January 9, 2018. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.
