NSF: National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) Program NSF 18-507

The NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) program is designed to encourage the development and implementation of bold, new, and potentially transformative models for STEM graduate education training. The NRT program seeks proposals that explore ways for graduate students in research-based master’s and doctoral degree programs to develop the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to pursue a range of STEM careers.

USC may only submit only two proposals per competition in response to this solicitation. Participation includes serving as a lead organization, non-lead organization, or subawardee on any proposal.

Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by November 8, 2017. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

NSF indicates that submission of a letter of Intent is REQUIRED November 27, 2017 - December 6, 2017 and a full proposal is due by February 06, 2018. For more information: https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2018/nsf18507/nsf18507.htm
