NIH: NIMHD Specialized Centers of Excellence on Minority Health and Health Disparities (U54)RFA-MD-17-005This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications to establish NIMHD Centers of Excellence in eligible institutions of higher education. The purpose of this initiative is to advance the science of minority health and health disparities by conducting transdisciplinary, multi-level research in a defined thematic area and by providing research opportunities and support for post-doctoral fellows, junior faculty, and other investigators.
USC may submit only one application in response to this program announcement. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by March 14, 2017. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.
