This program is in response to and is a component of the National Nanotechnology Initiative Signature Initiative: Sustainable Nanomanufacturing - Creating the Industries of the Future (http://www.nano.gov/node/611).

Proposals should target nanomanufacturing processes with a clear commercial relevance, and should consider addressing key aspects of the nanomanufacturing value chain of nano-scale building-blocks to complex nanostructures to functional devices to integrated systems:

USC may only submit one application in response to this program announcement. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by August 15, 2016. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

NSF has indicated a letter of intent is due September 19, 2016 and a full proposal is due November 21, 2016. For more information: http://www.nsf.gov/funding/pgm_summ.jsp?pims_id=505310>
