Community partners in the public and private sectors benefit from our world-class
faculty expertise in research, planning and program evaluation as well as increased
participation by energetic and committed student volunteers.
In turn, the university advances from the enriched scholarship, research and creative
activity spawned by our partnerships. Community engagement also helps us enhance curriculum,
teaching and learning opportunities for our students.
Ultimately, our partnerships allow us to prepare more educated, involved citizens;
strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility; address critical societal issues
and contribute to the public good.
