A key goal of the institute is to supplement water quality measurements conducted by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control.
SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC-DHEC)
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control provides our institute
with water samples to be tested in finer, more comprehensive detail available through
our research technology. Once we have carried out that sample testing, we send SC-DHEC
the data gathered to provide information the organization generally is unable to collect
about state water quality.
